WHAT ARE SHINIES?
Shiny Pokemon have different colors than normal. They're extremely rare and highly valued by collectors and traders.

BASE SHINY RATE
The base shiny chance is 1 in 512 (about 0.2%).

HOW TO BOOST SHINY RATES
Multiple bonuses stack together:

1. ELITE MEMBERSHIP: 2x shiny rate
2. ELITE ZONE: Additional 3x (total 6x with Elite)
3. SHINY CHARM (premium item): 3x boost
4. SHINY STORM (premium item): 10x boost
5. SHINY LEGENDARY (premium item): 20x boost
6. PRESTIGE BONUS: +2% per prestige level
7. WEEKLY SHINY EVENT: Varies by event

MAXIMUM SHINY RATE EXAMPLE
With all bonuses stacked:
- Base: 1/512
- Elite (2x) + Elite Zone (3x) + Shiny Storm (10x) = 60x
- That's about 1 in 8 encounters being shiny!

WHERE TO HUNT SHINIES
- Elite Zone: Best shiny rates (6x for Elite members)
- Any zone during a Shiny Boost weekly event
- Use Shiny Charm or Shiny Storm items for massive boosts

SHINY VALUE
- Shiny Pokemon are worth much more in trades
- Shiny Legendaries are the most valuable Pokemon in the game
- Show off your shinies in your profile and clan!

TIPS
- Grind encounters in one zone to maximize your search speed
- Stack as many shiny boost items as possible
