Move Forge

Design a signature move for your Pokémon from a 100-point budget

⚒️ A Move Nobody Else Has

The Move Forge lets you design a signature move for one of your Pokémon: you choose its type, power, accuracy, PP and one extra effect, all paid from a budget of 100 points. Then you name it — and that name is yours alone in the whole world. The move goes into one of your Pokémon's four move slots and fights in your battles like any other move.

🧮 The 100-Point Budget

Type and category are free. Everything else costs points — or gives points back. The live meter shows "Budget … / 100" and the forge won't let you go over.

Power (40–120, in steps of 5)

Up to 90, every point of power above 30 costs 1 point. Above 90, each point of power costs 2.

Exactly one extra effect per move, and there is no priority option: a signature move never goes first just because it's yours. The trade-offs are power, accuracy and PP.

🔥 Example Builds

BuildPower / Accuracy / PP / EffectPoints
Flamethrower-class90 / 100% / 15 PP / 10% burn60 + 0 + 8 + 8 = 76
Steady drain80 / 100% / 10 PP / heals 50%50 + 0 + 0 + 26 = 76
Speed engine70 / 95% / 10 PP / +1 Speed40 − 4 + 0 + 24 = 60
All-in nuke120 / 85% / 5 PP / none120 − 12 − 10 = 98
Clean hitter110 / 100% / 10 PP / none100 + 0 + 0 = 100

Power 120 with 90% accuracy or better never fits, even with 5 PP — the budget keeps every move strong but never broken.

🏷️ Naming Your Move

🔁 Forging & Re-forging

  1. Pick a Pokémon on the left.
  2. Name the move, choose type, category, power, accuracy, PP and the effect.
  3. Choose which move it replaces (the forge suggests the first empty slot, or slot 4).
  4. Press Forge it · 3,000 coins. The move is learned on the spot: "✨ … learned …".

Re-forging changes the same move — name, type, numbers or effect — for 1,000 coins, and it stays in the same slot. Already holding 3 signature moves? Re-forge one of them instead of making a fourth. If the forge ever fails, nothing is charged.

The section "Latest forged in the world" shows the newest moves made by all players — a good place to look for ideas.

🧭 Forge Tips

  1. Accuracy is cheap insurance. Dropping to 95% only saves 4 points — think twice before going lower.
  2. 5 PP gives back 10 points — great for a finisher, risky in long fights.
  3. "Always" stat drops cost more than a 30% chance, but you can count on them.
  4. Choose your three partners well. You can hold only 3 signature moves, but re-forging is cheaper than forging.
