Play together: friends, chat, parties, clans and the trade market
🤝 PokeWorld Is Better Together
PokeWorld is a true MMO — every trainer you see walking around the map is a real player. Making friends, joining a clan and trading on the market are some of the biggest power-ups in the game, and they're all free.
This guide covers the five pillars of the social game: Friends, Chat, Parties, Clans and the Trade Market.

👥 Friends — Build Your Crew
Adding friends takes two seconds, and there are two ways to do it:
From the map: tap any player walking nearby → their profile popup opens → hit ➕ ADD FRIEND.
From the Friends page: open 👥 FRIENDS from the action bar to search players by name and send requests.
Managing requests
Incoming friend requests appear on your Friends page — accept or decline with one tap. Once you're friends, you can:
See which friends are online right now and where they're playing.
Jump straight into a private message or invite them to a party.
Find each other faster for raids, trades and events.
Met a cool trainer during an outbreak hunt? Add them on the spot — the popup is one tap away, and an active friends list makes raids and parties dramatically easier to fill.
💬 Chat — Global, Local, DMs & Polls
The chat box on the map keeps the whole world connected:
Global chat — talk to every trainer online, server-wide.
Local chat — talk to players in your current zone; perfect for coordinating on-the-spot hunts.
Mentions — tag a player with @name so they never miss your message.
GIFs & images — share screenshots of your shiny catches (mandatory bragging!).
Polls 📊 — create community polls right in chat: "Which outbreak should we hit next?" and let the people vote.
Private messages
For one-on-one conversations, open a player's profile and tap Message. DMs are private, persistent, and perfect for negotiating trades before you list.
Chat names are interactive — tap any name to open a quick menu with Profile, Message, Mention and Quote.
🎉 Parties — Co-op Up to 6 Players
A Party is a temporary co-op squad of up to 6 players exploring together. While partied up:
Shared XP — battles won by party members feed XP to the whole group. Grinding together is simply faster.
Party HUD — see your teammates' status at a glance on the map screen.
New player? Joining a party with a higher-level friend is one of the fastest ways to level up early — their wins push your XP too.
🏰 Clans — Your Permanent Home
Where parties are temporary, a Clan (guild) is your long-term family in PokeWorld. Join an existing clan or found your own, then enjoy:
Clan chat — a private channel just for members.
Donations — contribute to the clan bank to power group upgrades.
Ranks — leaders promote officers and trusted members with management powers.
Clan wars — organized clan-vs-clan competition for glory and rewards.
Territory control 🗺️ — clans can claim map zones; controlling territory grants bonuses to every member while they play inside it.
Territory is the endgame of the clan system: strong clans race to claim the best hunting zones, and members reap passive bonuses just by playing in clan land.
Looking for a clan? Ask in global chat or our Discord — active clans are always recruiting, and most are happy to take motivated new trainers.
💱 The Trade Market — Buy & Sell Pokémon
The player market is where Pokémon change hands. List any Pokémon from your PC for a price in coins or 💎 gems, and browse what other trainers are selling.

What sells best?
Shinies ✨ — always in demand; rare species command huge prices.
Perfect-IV Pokémon 💯 — battlers pay a premium for flawless stats.
High-IV starters and pseudo-legendaries — steady sellers for team builders.
Selling spare catches is a core part of the economy — a duplicate shiny can fund weeks of Poké Balls. And every purchase fills a dex gap for your Collector Score.
🛡️ Stay Safe — Avoid Trade Scams
The market is the ONLY safe way to trade. Trades through the market are escrowed by the game — the Pokémon and the payment swap atomically, so nobody can run off with both. Never agree to "you send first" deals arranged in chat, and never, ever share your password — no staff member will ever ask for it.
Price too good to be true? It usually is — compare against similar listings first.
Someone pressuring you to trade outside the market? That's the scam. Decline and report.
Account secured? Guests should claim their account with an email — see Getting Started.
